Koffee With Karan 7: Saif Ali Khan Likes Daughter Sara's Films As Long As They Aren't...

The new and freshly brewed episode of Karan Johar's much-loved talk show Koffee With Karan dropped on Disney+Hotstar on Thursday. Guests? Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were on the famous “Koffee couch,” where celebs make shocking revelations and spill beans about their love life. While Sara and Janhvi, who now share a great bond, kept the audience entertained with anecdotes about their trips, their exes and their latest crush Vijay Deverakonda (more on this later), they also shared what their respective families think about their professional projects.

Sara Ali Khan, who is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan with his ex-wife Amrita Singh, revealed that Saif “likes” her films as long as they are not the remake of his movies. When Karan asked Sara if he is “yet to like a film of yours,” she replied: “As long as I am not remaking his films, he likes my films. I think we are good there” and burst into laughter. So far, Sara has appeared in only one film which is a sequel/remake of her father's movies. Sara Ali Khan, who made her Koffee With Karan debut with her dad in November 2018, also revealed that the one who takes all major decisions at the house is her mom Amrita Singh and that she has never felt the absence of Saif Ali Khan in her life, after the separation,  as he is always “just a call away.”

Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath in 2018. The same year, her film with Ranveer Singh titled Simmba was released in theatres and it was a hit.  Her third film was a sequel to Imtiaz Ali's 2009 directorial Love Aaj Kal, which starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. Next, she was paired opposite Varun Dhawan in Coolie No. 1.

Sara's last film was Atrangi Re alongside Akshay Kumar and south star Dhanush.
