The Bigg Boss house has been turned into a beautifulwedding venue as TV actors Sara Khan and Ali Merchant get set to tie the knoton the reality show on Thursday. But doubts over its authenticity linger.
The couple, who had been dating for the past three years, will be pronouncedhusband and wife in a Muslim wedding ceremony on the reality show, which will be telecast on Thursday (November 11).
However, rumours are abuzz that the two are already married. In an interview toa news channel, the bride's parents revealed that Sara and Ali had married in2008.
"Both Sara and Ali already got married two years ago on Nov 10. Ali'sparents had asked us to stay mum about it as their career was on stake,"Sara's mother told a news channel.
"We were not invited for the wedding," Sara's father added.
Previous episodes of Bigg Boss, aired on Colors, had shown Sara tearingpictures of Ali, saying the relationship was going through a turbulent phase. Sowas all this just an elaborate gimmick for television ratings?
Reports say Ali and Sara have been paid around Rs 50 lakh for their 'televisionwedding'. True or not, the pre-weddingceremonies were a colourful affair.
Sara will be wearing a red and green wedding outfit with kundan embroiderywhile Ali will be seen in a sherwani embellished with gold threads. The outfitshave been designed by Vikram Phadnis.
All the Bigg Boss inmates, Shweta Tiwari, Dolly Bindra, Veena Malik andAanchal Kumar, Ashmit Patel, Hrishant Goswami and Manoj Tiwari will be a partof the wedding.
Also present will be Ali's parents Ashik Abbas Merchant andSalma, and Sara's uncle Irshad Hussain Khan.
