Chennai:
Actor-filmmaker Sasikumar, who has so far introduced six directors over the last few years, said he won't return to direction until he introduces four more directors.
"With my forthcoming release Kidaari, I'm introducing sixth new director to the industry. My next film is also with a debutant director. Before I return to direction, I want to introduce three more directors to make the total count to ten," Sasikumar told IANS.
Sasikumar made his debut as a director with 2008's critically-acclaimed Tamil drama Subramaniapuram.
Since his 2010 Tamil thriller Easan, he's been busy with acting assignments. He says he has committed to two more projects.
"My recent injury kept me out of action for nearly six months. I couldn't work on projects I was supposed to and they subsequently got pushed. I need to finish them first before even thinking of calling the shots again," he said.
Kidaari, directed by Prasath Murugesan, is slated to hit the screens on Friday.
