Mumbai: Filmmaker Prakash Jha, who is busy shooting his new political drama Satyagraha in Bhopal, has plans to turn the film's story into a novel that will be published post the movie's release.
"Prakash Jha and Anjum Rajabali have come up with a fantastic script called Satyagraha and the makers are of the opinion that the script should also be published as a book," said a source close to the team.
"The script will be transformed into a novel which will be published post the release of the film. The story of the film is very powerful and will connect with the youth of the country," the source added.
The novel of the same name will be co-written by Jha and Rajabali, who have earlier worked together on films like Raajneeti, Aarakshan and Chakravyuh.
Satyagraha, releasing on August 23, features Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao.
