Hollywood superstar Sean Penn's rumoured girlfriend, model Jessica White, has been arrested after allegedly getting in a brawl over a taxi.
The swimsuit model, who has been dating the Oscar winning actor on and off during the past year, was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning after she allegedly hit a woman in the face after a row over a taxi, reported New York Post online.
Ironically, as the model was being awarded with a charge of misdemeanor assault, Penn was receiving an award for his humanitarian work.
Penn has had several brushes with the law himself and last year he was sentenced to community service for kicking a photographer.
But the 50-year-old received the Hollywood Humanitarian Award at the annual Hollywood Awards Gala in Beverly Hills for his work with earthquake victims in Haiti.
His 26-year-old love interest got into a scuffle with a woman outside a night club in downtown New York.
According to the court complaint, White "pulled the victim's hair and struck [the victim] numerous times in the face with her hand, causing abrasions, swelling and substantial pain."
The model started dating Penn following his split from his actress wife Robin Wright last year.
