Teen pop star Selena Gomez has axed two Christmas concerts after her mother suffered a miscarriage.
The 19-year-old Disney star was ecstatic when her mother Mandy Teefey revealed she was expecting a sibling for the star last month.
But now Gomez has dropped her scheduled performances to support her family after her mum reportedly lost the baby,reported E! online.
She was due to perform at the B96 Jingle Bash 2011 at the Allstate Arena near Chicago, Illinois and at 106.1 Kiss FM'sJingle Bell Bash in Seattle, Washington.
The singer's representative revealed Gomez had axed the shows due to a "family emergency", and confirmed that her mum had suffered a miscarriage.
