Mumbai: A sequel to the popular album PiyaBasanti, which will have unheard songs of late singer UstadSultan Khan and Chithra, is set to hit the stores in August.
Piya Basanti, which saw the successful trio of SultanKhan, Chithra and composer Sandesh Shandilya woo many withtheir songs, was also awarded the Best Pop album.
The sequel titled Piya Basanti Again will be releasedby Sony Music with seven brand new original compositions andone remix.
The album is one of the few that presents the unheardmelodies of Late Sultan Khan.
"Piya Basanti has been an iconic album in the early 2000and the sequel promises to be the same and much more. We havekept the same nuances while creating this album and we aredefinite the songs will crate the same magic as it did adecade ago," said Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director SonyMusic Entertainment India.
