Shabana Azmi is on a roll. Be it the comforting thammi Jamini Chatterjee in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani or the hard-nosed grandmother in Ghoomer,  the veteran actress has delivered back-to-back stellar performances. Just like the acting chops, her social media game is also on point. Recently, Shabana Azmi gave a little task to her fans on Instagram. Oh, and, everyone totally loved it. The 72-year-old has shared childhood pictures of three Bollywood actresses and asked fans to guess their names. The first pic was of Shabana Azmi's Tehzeeb co-star Dia Mirza. In the caption, she wrote, “Guess who? From the film industry.” Fans didn't waste much time and wrote Dia's name in the comments. Replying to the adorable post, Dia said, “Amma [red heart emoji] [loved emoji].” Shabana Azmi also dropped a note in the comments. She said, “Wow. Most of you got her right. It is Dia Mirza.”

Check out Dia Mirza's childhood photograph here:

Well, the second photograph left the Internet confused. While many speculated that the picture was either of Shabana Azmi or her mother[Shaukat Kaifi], some mentioned Pooja Bhatt's name in the reply box. However, it turns out that the photo was of Richa Chadha, who wrote, “[hands-up emoji] ha ha ha ha”, in the comments. Shabana Azmi and Richa Chadha have worked in films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Chalk N Duster.

Here is Richa Chadha's throwback picture:

Alongside the third and the last throwback, Shabana Azmi wrote, “And, who is she? Highly regarded for her talent.” Fans were quick to recognise that it was none other than Vidya Balan. “Wow. Many of you guessed it right. It's Vidya Balan,” Shabana Azmi commented. Shabana Azmi and Vidya Balan have shared the screen space in Dus Kahaniyaan. The film also starred Dia Mirza.

Now, take a look at Vidya Balan's childhood photograph:

Shabana Azmi is hands down the queen of throwbacks. Not too long ago, she posted a picture of herself and Dharmendra from the sets of Mardon Wali Baat, which was released in 1988. In the caption, she wrote, "At the time Jamini from Rocky Aur Rani [Kii Prem Kahaani] must have met Kanwalji! From Mardon Wali Baat.” In the Karan Johar film, which was released on July 28, Dharmendra played the role of Kanwalji.

Shabana Azmi's Ghoomer was released in theatres on August 18. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, and Angad Bedi.
