Shabana Azmi's latest film What's Love Got To Do With It? is making a lot of noise ever since it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last week. The film is directed by Shekhar Kapur and stars prominent actors such as Emma Thompson, Lily James alongside Jeff Mirza Asim, Shazad Latif, and Sajal Aly. At TIFF, the film received an “overwhelming” response from viewers. Now, Shabana Azmi has shared an unseen picture of herself with the What's Love Got To Do With It? team. Here, we can spot Shekhar Kapur, Lily James, screenwriter Jemima Khan, Jeff Mirza and Asim Chaudhry. For the caption, she wrote, “What's Love Got To Do With It - The writer, Jemima Khan, director Shekhar Kapur, the cast - Lily James Shabana Azmi, Jeff Mirza, Asim. Emma Thompson, Shazad Latif, Sajal Aly are missing.”

What's Love Got To Do? is a cross-culture rom-com. When it premiered at TIFF this year, Shabana Azmi shared glimpses of the red carpet moments of the star cast and wrote about the response the movie got at the film festival.
Posting a photo with Lily James and Sajal Aly, the veteran actress said, “With the lovely Lily James and Sajal Aly at the Toronto Film festival where our film, Shekhar Kapur's What's Love Got To Do With It? received 2 standing ovations.”
In another update from the TIFF, Shabana Azmi said, “Red carpet TIFF for the premiere of Shekhar Kapur's What's Love Got To Do With It?...Got 2 standing ovations...People laughed people cried and the response was overwhelming. Bravo Jemima Khan, Lily James, Sajal Aly and above all, Shekhar Kapur. We missed the wonderful Emma Thompson.”
Shabana Azmi also allowed us to take a look at a message she received from Oscar winner Emma Thompson, who couldn't attend the premiere at TIFF. “Emma Thompson's message to me on Shekhar Kapur's What Love Got To Do With It?” it read.
