Rubbishing rumours of cold war with Bollywood superstar and owner ofIPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Shah Rukh Khan, former KKRskipper Sourav Ganguly Saturday said Shah Rukh is like his elderbrother and will remain so.
"I don't know from where these false stories of clash between me andShah Rukh have come up. There is no such thing. It is totally wrong.Shah Rukh is a good friend of mine and I know him for a long time. KKRis a sensitive and emotional team for me. I want it to win," saidGanguly.
"Shah Rukh is just like my elder brother and he will remain so," saidGanguly while talking to media persons at a programme of the Bengaliversion of "Kaun Banega Crorepati".
Ganguly, who led the Kolkata Knight Riders during the last three IPLseasons, was signed by the Pune Warriors as replacement for AshishNehra after he went unsold in the IPL auctions for the fourth edition.Ganguly was roped in at the last moment and many were hoping that theformer India captain will turn things around for the bottom-placed Puneside.
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who was a guest at the programme, alsodenied that he was attending it because of common enmity with Shah Rukh.
"No, no," said Aamir when asked whether his presence at the programmehosted by Ganguly was due to a common enmity with Shah Rukh.
