But if sources are to be believed, he has another reason to smile - it turns out that he has signed on none other than Kajol opposite Shah Rukh Khan for his next film.
A source says, "Rohit will be directing SRK in his next film and he has now signed on Kajol as the lead actress for the film. This is indeed a coup though everything is at the planning stage right now. In fact, the film's pre-production work has already begun and an official announcement should be made soon."
The source adds that Rohit is about to finish work on the final draft of the film's script. "It will go on the floors in the first half of 2015. Rohit finalised Kajol as the leading lady of the film just last week.
