The Shah Rukh Khan social media drought has ended and its place is a Shah Rukh Khan blitz. We're not complaining because the latest SRK announcement is OTT-related, namely the launch of something called SRK+. "Kuch kuch hone wala hain, OTT ki duniya mein (something is going to happen in the world of OTT)," Shah Rukh Khan posted today, referencing the title of his hit film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Excitement levels online are at maximum regardless. Fans are thrilled that SRK's dominion will now extend to streaming as well. "King Khan ab OTT pe raj karega (King Khan will rule over OTT now)," read one thrilled comment on SRK's post.

Shah Rukh Khan's self-imposed social media hiatus began last year after his son Aryan was arrested in a drug bust; Aryan was released on bail about a month later. SRK has only recently returned to public life, sharing several advertisements he stars in among with other social media posts, one of which was the teaser for his new film Pathaan. Pathaan co-stars Deepika Padukone and releases in January 2023.
