Actor Shah Rukh Khan's tweet-musing on the 'beginning' of things reveals him as one among the legion Douglas Adams fans around the globe.

Time and perspective are key ingredients in the sci-fi/fantasy writer's space romp The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and related books. For instance, elevators in The Hitchhiker's Guide offices have 'defocused temporal perception' that allows them to see into the future and therefore predict on which floor there will be potential passengers waiting. Or the Restaurant at the End of the Universe, which is (as self-expained) a restaurant at the end of the universe. No matter which time period one happens to occupy, when dining at the Restaurant one is transported instantly to the End of the Universe.
The end of the universe or a restaurant at which to enjoy the view was unlikely to be on SRK's mind, however. The superstar's tweets are frequently introspective and poetic, and deeply personal.
We're also glad to note that SRK seems to be in a happier mood than he was in when he tweeted days ago:
Sumtimes ppl just cheapen dreams by talking real.Felt that 2day & disappointed that I expected otherwise. Try & get a life not Earn a living
