Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again will now release on August 15, 2013.

The makers of AkshayKumar-starrer Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again have pushedthe release date of their film to August 15, primarily toavoid clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express releasingon August 8.
The crime gangster film directed by Milan Luthria andproduced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor was supposed to hitthe screens on the occasion of Eid falling on August 8.
Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again will nowrelease on the Independence Day.
It was Shah Rukh who spoke to veteran actor Jeetendraand a meeting was held between him, UTV (producers of ChennaiExpress) and SRK to push the release date of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again.
"Keeping in mind that both weekends (8th August and15th August) are good times for film releases, Jeetendra sir,being the senior most, showed the path. He took the decisionto move the film to August 15. This is extremely graceful ofhim," Shah Rukh said in a statement here.
"UTV, Rohit Shetty (director) and I are very happywith the decision made and we thank Jeetu sir and BalajiMotion Pictures for the same. This should pave the way forsuch mature and sensible amicable understandings whenever twofilms release on the same day in future too," the actor said.
Ekta Kapoor too is happy with the development.
"My father and Shah Rukh spoke and have clearly workedout what is best for both the films. Both are big and keenlyawaited films and should not be made to eat into each other'sbusiness...I have huge respect for SRK and wish him the best,"Ekta Kapoor said.
