Shah Rukh Khan in a still from Raees teaser.
New Delhi:
A Shah Rukh Khan fan club has received a shout out from the actor on Twitter. The actor, who has 10 days of filming left for Raees, recently spotted a fan-made trailer of his upcoming film in which he plays the role of a liquor baron, and suggested that the good folks behind it finish Raees. He tweeted:
The fan-made trailer uses Shah Rukh's voice and dialogues from the teaser of Raaes, which released on July 16. Only here, Raees is not a liquor baron but deals in cigarettes.
Two posters of Shah Rukh in and as Raees released along with the teaser of the Rahul Dholakia-directed film:
The film, which is co-produced by Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment and SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is slated for an Eid 2016 release.
SRK is also filming Rohit Shetty's Dilwale and shot Maneesh Sharma's Fan the first half of the year. So that's three films he's made in a single year.
Of the three films, Dilwale - co-starring Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon - is the only one out this year, on December 18.
Fan, produced by Yash Raj Films, will introduce actress Waluscha De Sousa and is slated to release in April next year.
