Shah Rukh Khan's next movie may not have a name, still, but his character in it does. SRK plays an army officer called Samar in the movie directed by Yash Chopra and co-starring Katrina Kaif. Fans caught a glimpse of him shooting in Ladakh and took a picture.
We have absolutely no doubt that Shah Rukh will make a convincing military man. We know that because he's now an old hand at playing military men.
Remember Doordarshan-era Fauji from way back when? The 1988 television serial was Shah Rukh's debut and his portrayal of Commando Abhimanyu Singh instantly won him a place in our hearts.
Cut to 2004 and choreographer Farah Khan's directing debut Main Hoo Na. Shah Rukh Khan, now a superstar, played Major Ram Prasad Sharma, forced to go undercover at a school to stop a kidnapping.
And then there was Veer Zaara, also in 2004. The last film that Yash Chopra directed before the current work in progress starred SRK as Indian Air Force pilot Veer Pratap Singh, who falls in love with the Pakistani Zaara, played by Preity Zinta.
