Mumbai:
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, whose views on 'extreme intolerance' in the country had sparked a controversy last year, avoided queries about the subject at an event here on Friday.
The actor was here to make a formal announcement regarding edutainment theme park here when he was asked whether he felt that his 'intolerance' remark had made people 'conscious' in the society.
Shah Rukh responded: "I feel there is a specific platform for everything. Here we are talking about kids, so it would be good to talk about this on a platform where it is being discussed."
Earlier, the Happy New Year star had said: "I do think there is intolerance. There is extreme intolerance."
His views were then criticised by many politicians and the film fraternity.
