Shah Rukh Khan photographed outside Karan Johar's office.
New Delhi:
The party that wasn't last Sunday was followed by a short epilogue on Tuesday - actor Shah Rukh Khan was photographed at Dharma Productions' boss Karan Johar's office. (Also Read: What Made SRK Cancel Plans Of Hosting A Party At His Place?)
Unlike the Sunday dinner that never happened, this meeting was probably all business. For several months, SRK and KJo have been rumoured to be planning another film together. Two weeks ago, Hindustan Times reported that the project would not star SRK but be jointly produced by his company Red Chillies. "We are co-producing a film with Karan, which, I think, will be quite interesting because the script is interesting. I recently heard the story. Karan has chosen the script, and he has a good mind. I like the fact that he is joining hands with my company," SRK was quoted in the report as saying.
SRK has not starred in a Karan Johar film since 2010's My Name Is Khan and relations have recently been rumoured to be frosty with KJo forming a very public alliance with the actor's then-enemy Salman Khan and wife Gauri representing SRK at the gatherings Karan Johar regularly hosts at home.
This hug, however, appears to prove that bilateral ties have been restored:
The aforementioned Sunday dinner was to take place at SRK's home and invitees included the director and cast of the Karan Johar-produced Shaandaar. It was reportedly cancelled because SRK, one of Bollywood's busiest stars, was on too tight a schedule with his films Dilwale, Fan and Raees.
