Shah Rukh Khan is followed by Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Mumbai:
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has topped the 2nd edition of Forbes India's celebrity 100 list, a ranking of India's most powerful celebrities.
SRK continues to be on the top on the back of his earnings, even though star cricketers scored above him on the fame rankings, states the official website of the magazine.
The superstar has retained his No 1 position in the list, which also has names like Bollywood biggies Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif along with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The Celebrity 100 list is arrived at by measuring money (earnings estimates) and fame. Filmstars - all male, with the exception of Katrina Kaif, who is on number nine - dominate the Top 10 in 2013.
Cricket is the closest competitor to Bollywood and their stars' fame index is testimony to that.
Dhoni, who was on the third position last year, has risen to the second position. He has taken what was earlier Salman's position.
Salman, who is now third in the list, is followed by Tendulkar and Bachchan.
Kareena Kapoor and Virendra Sehwag have been pushed down from the top 10 this time, making way for Ranbir and Hrithik Roshan.
Others who make it the list of 100 this year are cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, singer-composer Amit Trivedi, actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan and actress Sridevi.
