The title of the much anticipated directorial comeback of Yash Chopra was finally announced on Tuesday with the first poster of the film. Jab Tak Hai Jaan has clearly become the much talked topic as it is trending on social networking sites worldwide.
Along with the name, all eyes were also on the poem featured on the second poster.
And for those who might not quite get the original Urdu verses, written by Aditya Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan obliges with an English translation.
"my first attempt at translation....second to follow....if you guys can...try a version please. pic.twitter.com/87XGZyrt" the actor tweeted.
The superstar, who plays military man Samar in the film, also invited his Twitter followers to post translations in other languages and promised to retweet them.
"Send me translations in your language and i will retweet it for others to read...aditya chopra's verses of love." he tweeted.
Within minutes of the tweet, the actor received translations in more than 15 languages ranging from Urdu, Farsi, French to Chinese, Italian and Sindhi. True to his promise, SRK retweeted all posts.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is slated to release this Diwali on November 13, 2012. It will mark the return of Yash Chopra to the director's seat eight years after his last film - Veer Zaara starring SRK, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherji. It also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
