Bollywood superstar Shah RukhKhan, who has appeared on all the previous seasons of Koffeewith Karan, will not feature on the TV show this time.This will the first time Shah Rukh will be skippingthe popular show, hosted by his good friend and filmmakerKaran Johar, which is in its fourth edition.
The 48-year-old Chennai Express actor has appearedin all the previous seasons of the chat show, which revolvesaround celebrities from the film industry.
In the first two seasons, SRK appeared in the openingepisode itself. In the first one (2004), the "King Khan" camewith Kajol and in the next one he was accompanied by Kajol andRani Mukerji.
In the third season he appeared solo."He (Shah Rukh) won't be coming on the show thistime," a source said.
The first episode of season four, which started inDecember last year, opened with Salman Khan, who appeared on thetalk show for the first time.
Koffee with Karan will have actresses Alia Bhatt andParineeti Chopra in the final episode which will be aired oncoming Sunday.
"This Sunday will be last celebrity episode and thefinale episode will be best of 'Koffee with Karan'," thesource said.
Alia had earlier appeared on the show with Student ofthe Year co-stars Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. Thiswould be her second appearance in season four.
