Dubai:
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's scheduled performance at the Muscat Festival has been postponed.
The My Name Is Khan star's show was to be held on February 17, but organisers announced on Monday that film commitments were keeping the 45-year-old actor from performing on that day.
"Muscat Municipality and Alive Entertainment regret to announce that the award-winning actor-producer Shah RukhKhan's performance has been postponed due to delayed filming commitments," said a statement issued by Muscat Municipality.
The show is now postponed until March and the final date will be confirmed soon, the statement added.
During a fashion show on January 28, the event organisers had reiterated that Shah Rukh's show would be held as announced and rumors about the cancellation of the show were not true.
