Mumbai:
Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who is shooting for Gauri Shinde's next film along with Alia Bhatt, said that it is a different film.
Is Shah Rukh doing a cameo in Shinde's next?
"I should think it's a proper role. The film is a little different from my other Hindi films. Most of my scenes are with Alia. So, I keep coming in. It's not a hero-heroine type of a film," Shah Rukh told IANS.
"It's a different slice-of-life kind of a film. It's a different film for me because it's not a typical 'lead lead' as such. I have shot for 49 days. So, I must be having a good role," added Shah Rukh.
The film is jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions. This will be Gauri's second film as a director after English Vinglish, which released in 2012.
Shah Rukh, recently seen in Fan, said that he tries his best to choose different roles as an actor.
"I think in the last four to five years, I have heard so many people telling me that I am doing the same stuff that I started believing that I do the same stuff. As an actor, I try to keep it different for me. I just know what I can do and what I am offered and within that offering I try to be different," said Shah Rukh.
Shah Rukh will also be seen in Rahul Dholakia's Raees, co-starring Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, which is expected to release on Eid this year.
