Actors Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have planned to make the launch of the first song from their upcoming film Shaandaar special by performing live at an event here on Thursday. (Also Read: Alia and Shahid Look Good On Screen, Says Shaandaar Director)
This will be the first time the duo will perform together live on stage, read a statement. Shahid and Alia also tweeted the first look of their song on Twitter. Alia, who sports a moustache, looks pretty in a tweed jacket and pants. Shahid is the the boy next door in a waistcoat worn over a white shirt and trousers.
The song will also feature Shahid's sister Sanah Kapur. The trailer of the film has already generated a lot of buzz and the audiences are now looking forward to its music. Anvita Dutt has written the lyrics for Gulaabo while the song has been crooned by Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaandaar is scheduled for release on October 22.
