Shahid Kapoor's much awaited film Udta Punjab has released today and the film industry absolutely loves it. Several celebrities, including actors Dia Mirza, Aditi Rao Hydari, Preity Zinta, Arshad Warsi and filmmakers Gauri Shinde and Mahesh Bhatt, tweeted praise of the film.

Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab stars Shahid as a drug addicted rockstar and Alia as a Bihari migrant. The movie deals with the issue of drug abuse in Punjab and features Kareena Kapoor as a doctor and Diljit Dosanjh as a cop.
