Shahid and Mira at Mumbai airport on August 25
New Delhi:
Better a late honeymoon than never. Newly-married actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput waited over a month before they could shoehorn a post-wedding holiday into Shahid's busy schedule and were spotted flying home on Monday. Shahid, 34, was photographed at Mumbai's international terminal holding Mira's hand. The honeymoon destination is believed to have been London. Mira, who married the Haider actor on July 7 in Delhi, wore an electric blue top, a black cardigan and distressed jeans, accessorised with a bright red Anya Hindmarch tote. Unlike a smiling Shahid, she looked carefully away from the cameras.
Shahid couldn't keep his eyes off Mira.
On Saturday, Shahid shared a selfie of himself and Mira from the holiday, dressed in colour co-ordinated outfits and grinning from ear to ear.
Shahid, committed to judging the new season of talent show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, has been too busy to pencil in a holiday before this. He's also been promoting his new film Shaandaar. A delayed honeymoon appears to be a mini thing-in-the-making in Bollywood with actors Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu also postponing their holiday to a couple of months after their January wedding because of work.
