Leading Bollywood stars ShahidKapoor and Priyankya Chopra today launched the 12-day-longIndian Film Festival here.

Speaking at press conference, Priyanka said Indian filmsare being noticed world over.
"What we offer as Indian movies is colour and culture andmusic and celebration and drama and love, and I think that'srepresentative of our culture. I think Indian movies are goingbeyond just the shores of India or the South-Asiansubcontinent - it's going all over the world," the actresssaid.
Shahid, who is starring opposite Priyanka in Teri MeriKahaani, said: "I think what's beautiful about our films isthat they're different from the kind of films that people getto see otherwise, and I think that's why we kind of stand out.
Festival director Mitu Bhowmick Lange said they willscreen 40 films during the period, including the worldpremiere of Teri Meri Kahaani.
"It's just about bringing these two worlds as close aspossible and being this really good, fun, cultural bridgebetween the two countries," Lange said.
