Dancer Shakti Mohan is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with filmmaker-choreographer Remo D'Souza's film.
Shakti, who has participated in dance-based reality shows like Dance India Dance and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, will be playing the lead in the film along with dancer Salman Yusuff Khan.
"I'm very excited to be a part of this project. Remo sir is my mentor and it is a dream come true to be making a debut through my childhood passion which is dance," Shakti said in a statement.
The film will be a romantic love story that will be based on ballet as a dance form and will also mark Remo's debut as a producer, read a statement.
Shakti will also be one of the mentor's on TV show Dance Plus Season 2.
