Los Angeles: Country singer Shania Twain, who underwent a divorce recently, has channeled all the tragedy in her life into writing and is planning to launch her autobiography soon.

"There have been moments in my life I was concerned by the reality that tomorrow would never come. Recently I experienced one of those moments to an intensity that brought on a sudden urgency to document my life before I ran out of time, before I had the opportunity to share an honest and complete account of my life, in my own words," said Twain.

The You're Still the One hitmaker's marriage famously fell apart in 2008 after her husband, music producer Robert Lange had an affair with one of her best friends, reported People magazine.

"There are times in your life that are meant for reflection, and this was one of them. I began writing this book with a sincere respect for the past, present and future as something never to be taken for granted," said Twain.

In the memoir, set to be published by Atria Books next spring, Twain, 45, writes about her childhood in rural Ontario, the death of her mother and stepfather, her rise in Nashville and the breakup of her marriage. She has since found love again with Frederic Thiebaud, the ex-husband of the "other woman."

Twain also has a documentary series airing on the Oprah Winfrey Network next year.
