Los Angeles: Singer Shania Twain's alleged stalker has pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a court order to stay away.
Giovanni Palumbo, who was charged with criminal harassment, interrupted testimony at his trial in Ontario, Canada on and declared he would plead guilty, reported E! Online.
During the hearing Twain testified via video and told the court Palumbo's visits to her family retreat made her feel uncomfortable.
The singer said that she had to hire security for a party after he was spotted nearby, sitting in his Lamborghini.
Towards the end of Twain's testimony, the former doctor stood up in court and addressed his victim by her birth name, stating, "Eileen, you can trust me, I'm going to plead guilty... I've been offended too much."
