Lootera is a period romance and features Ranveer Singh opposite Sonakshi.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha says her father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha is very happy with the promotional trailer of her forthcoming film Lootera and is eager to watch the movie.
"He (dad) is very happy. The promo of Lootera first came on internet, till that time it was not aired on TV, so he called one of his friends and said, 'Load this! I have to see the trailer'. He was very happy when he saw it," said Sonakshi.
"He said, 'This film seems to be different and interesting and I would definitely want to watch this film," she added.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Lootera is a period romance and features Ranveer Singh opposite Sonakshi. It releases on July 5.
