Veteran Bollywood actor and formerBJP minister Shatrughan Sinha was admitted to a hospital on Mondayin suburban Andheri here following respiratory disorder,doctors attending on him said.
The 66-year-old actor turned politician was rushed to theKokilaben hospital this afternoon after he complained ofbreathlessness due to some ongoing paint work at hisresidence, they said.
However, he is now stable and responding to the medicaltreatment.
"He came to the hospital complaining of breathingproblems. He had allergic respiratory disorder. He was givenappropriate treatment and is stable now," Dr Ram Narain ofKokilaben hospital told PTI.
Sinha spent the night in the hospital and a decisionon when to discharge him will be taken today, doctors said.
Shatrughan Sinha's wife Poonam Sinha and his sons Luv and Kush were at the hospital with him.
The 66-year-old actor has been the part of the industry since the 1970s.
