New Delhi:
On Monday, January 9, a lost track by iconic rock band The Doors, She Smells So Nice, hit social sites.
The song, released on The Doors Facebook page, marks the 40th anniversary of L.A. Woman - the band's sixth and final studio album that featured seminal tunes like The Changeling, Love Her Madly and the title track.
It marks the group's first release of new music in over 40 years. She Smells So Nice features vocals from the late Jim Morrison and was discovered by producer Bruce Botnic, who helmed the band's L.A. Woman sessions.
The popularity of The Doors has endured despite their active career ending in 1973. Frontman Morrison developed an alcohol and drug dependency and died in Paris in 1971 at 27, due to a suspected drug overdose.
