Kartik Aaryan is super excited today. After all, it's his mother's birthday. To make the day a special one, the actor has shared a heartwarming note for his “mummy”. Sharing a happy selfie in which Kartik is seen with his mom Mala Tiwari, he said, “Whether or not I am a Shehzada, you will always be my Queen. Happy Birthday, Mummy.” For the unversed, Shehzada is the title of Kartik Aaryan's next release. Fans and friends of the actor have also wished Kartik's mother in the comments section. Vikrant Massey conveyed his wishes and said: “Aunty Ji ko janmadin ki dher saari shubhkamnaen.” Karan Tacker just said, “Moms.”

Last year, during National Cancer Awareness Month, Kartik Aaryan spoke about his mother's story as a cancer survivor. He revealed that his mother had contracted breast cancer five years ago and has now been cured. Sharing a video in which he is seen dancing with his mother, Kartik wrote, “From going for chemotherapy sessions during the shoot of these songs to now dancing on stage on the same- The journey has been arduous! But her Positivity, Fortitude and Fearlessness kept us going. Today I can proudly say: My Mom fought the battle against cancer and WON. And for that we are all stronger.”

Kartik Aaryan concluded the note by saying, “I am so so proud of you Mummy and I pay my respects to all the people who could not make it and to all the people who have shown courage fighting this disease.”

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Freddy. Before that, he headlined the blockbuster horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. His next film, Shehzada, is a remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The original film featured Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. Kriti Sanon will reprise Pooja's role in the Hindi remake.
