New Delhi:
A short film Chimi's Dream, depicting the perils of environment degradation, has been released by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit.
Directed by Laxmi Dhaul, the 13-minute film is narrated by a child deals with the impact of deforestation and pollution on animals.
The animated movie was released on the World Earth Day last evening. Dixit also announced that the DVD's of the film would be distributed to 3000 odd eco-clubs in Delhi schools.
"I wrote Chimi's Dream several years ago and finally fulfilled my own dream of making it into an animated movie," said Laxmi.
The event was also attended by actor-columnist Suhel Seth and renowned mythologist, writer and columnist, Devdutt Patnaik.
