Transformers star Shia LaBeouf, who split from actress Carey Mulligan about a year ago, said he is still in love with her.
The 25-year-old actor admitted that though their relationship has run its course, they continue to be friends, reported Details magazine.
"I still love her. I think she's an awesome person and an incredible actress. We're still pals. I wouldn't take any of it back, and I don't think she would either. It just ran its course," said LaBeouf.
After establishing himself as one of Hollywood's most sought after actors, LaBeouf admitted he has become the envy of men.
"It's not extraordinary envy, like Robert Pattinson fan-worship stuff, but I do feel animosity from men. They feel like they want to challenge me."
The actor recently completed filming John Hillcoat's forthcoming crime-drama movie 'The Wettest County in the World', about Depression-era bootleggers in the American South.
The film is scheduled for release in 2012 and also stars Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy.
