The makers of the thriller are now facing a lawsuitover claims the movie is based on Cornell Woolrich's classicstory Rear Window, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

A Los Angeles judge recently dismissed a suit whichalleged movie bosses stole part of the film's plot from theshort story, which was turned into an Oscar-nominated film byAlfred Hitchcock in 1954.

And now, just weeks after the copyright infringementsuit was wrapped up, the executors of The Sheldon AbendRevocable Trust have filed a new lawsuit in a bid to revivethe legal battle.

The trust filed the breach-of-contract claim in LosAngeles Superior Court on October 28, alleging studio headsviolated a settlement agreement originally put in place toprotect Woolrich's story.

Famed literary agent Sheldon Abend took on the estateof movie giant Hitchcock and his film's star, James Stewart,in the 1980s after Rear Window was shown on television.

Both Rear Window and Disturbia tell the story of aman who thinks he has witnessed a murder after spying on hisneighbours.
