Shabana Azmi has shared her first look from Steven Spielberg's web show Halo The Series. She will play Admiral Margaret Parangosky in the much-awaited project. Wait, there is more. It is Shabana Azmi's “first colour blind casting”. She has announced it in the caption herself. “As Admiral Parangosky in Halo - my first colour blind casting. Releasing on March 24,” the sidenote read. For those who don't know, Halo is a hit sci-fi video game franchise. And, now, it has been adapted into a series by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane. It will stream on Voot Select in India.
Shabana Azmi's family has given a shout out to the actress in the comment section. Daughter-in-law, actress Shibani Dandekar has called it “phenomenal. Can't wait for this.” Farhan Akhtar followed suit. Director Zoya Akhtar extended her support with a bunch of clap emojis. Actress Vidya Balan wrote, “Yoohoo.”
Shibani Dandekar has also come with a special message for Shabana Azmi. It's on her Instagram Stories. Sharing the teaser, Shibani wrote, “This is incredible. Can't wait to see Shabana Azmi in Halo The Series. March 24…Super Excited…Super Proud.”
Earlier, the makers of Halo The Series shared a teaser on Instagram and wrote, “ Humanity must be protected”.

Halo The Series revolves around a conflict set in the 26th century. “Dramatising an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future,” read a part of the official synopsis.
The series will see Pablo Schreiber as the iconic Master Chief, along with Jen Taylor and Bokeem Woodbine. The project also stars Natascha McElhone, Danny Sapani and Charlie Murphy area
