Shilpa Shetty is back with her Monday Motivation. FYI: It is a workout video. The actress, in an easy-breezy salwar-kameez set, is performing the shoulder strengthening exercise. Referring to her gym outfit, she can be heard saying, “Outfit maat dekho…Emotion ko samjho. Get fit in any outfit.” Well said, Shilpa Shetty. The actress, who broke her leg on the sets of Rohit Shetty's India Police Force in August, adds, “Pair tuta hai, hath nahi”. After completing the set, the actress shows her biceps and strikes a cool pose for the lens. Along with the clip, Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Today's Monday Motivation: Get fit in any outfit. (It's Navratri, remember)”

Shilpa Shetty added, “Practiced the ‘Seated Chest Press Equipment' to begin with, primarily works shoulders and strengthens and develops the chest muscles and triceps.”

Highlighting the importance of the exercise, the actress said, “It's important to keep the shoulders depressed; elbows, aligned with the chest, pointing slightly downwards as you can see in the video. A mistake many make is that most of them shrug their shoulders and are not able to keep their elbows aligned with the chest. To do it right, remember this hack: Keep the elbows angled parallel to the handlebars. You will never go wrong with this. Keep your body tight and do not slack.”

Shilpa Shetty, in the end, busted a myth, “Wanted to also break the myth that women do not need to train Chest. Do 3 sets of 12 reps.” Check out her post here.

Shilpa Shetty takes her fitness routine seriously, and there is ample evidence on her Instagram page. When it comes to fitness, she follows this policy wholeheartedly – “Keep moving. No matter what.” Proof? In one of her previous Monday Motivation posts, she is seen working out in the gym with her injured leg. An excerpt from her caption read: “Putting the time I have to good use, while my leg's going to need time to make a full recovery, decided to ensure I follow a routine that works on strengthening the upper-body.”
