Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja is being considered as one of the participants for the fourth season of Bigg Boss.
The Woh Lamhe actor has been charged with raping his 20-year-old domestic help at his Oshiwara residence on June 15 last year.
Shiney, 36, was arrested on June 15 last year after his maid servant lodged a police complaint alleging rape. Ahuja had denied the charges and taken a stand that at the most the act could be termed as a consensual sex but not rape.
"The rape issue came as a shock to everyone and overnight, Shiney's fortunes changed. People want to know about the entire episode and he would certainly be the contestant to watch out for," said a source close to the actor.
Final selection later
"At the moment, only probable inmates are being approached. A list of possible names is being considered. The final selection will be done at a later stage," adds the source.
Bigg Boss 4 will go on air only after Priyanka Chopra-hosted Khatron Ke Khiladi 3, currently being shot in Brazil, completes its telecast. No date for either show has been finalised yet.
No Dimpy!
There were speculations that Rahul Mahajan's wife Dimpy will be on the show especially after her recent tamasha about her marital woes.
But the channel source states that she is not a part of the reality drama.

Some other new names that have been approached include: Actress-producer Aruna Irani.
