Mumbai:
Actor Shakti Kapoor received a special gift from his daughter actress Shraddha Kapoor - a coffee mug with the caption "Release Gogo" -- as a tribute to his 'Crime Master Gogo' character from the 1994 movie Andaz Apna Apna.
The movie, which gained a cult status over the years, featured the veteran actor in the role of an incorrigible villain.
According to a source, when Shraddha was returning to India a few days ago, she spotted a huge crowd buying some exclusive merchandise at the airport.
On inspection, the Aashiqui 2 actress found that there were old and young fans of her father purchasing 'Crime Master Gogo' merchandise. She also bought the mug for her father from there.
On reaching home, the actress gifted the mug to her father, who became nostalgic over the fact that he has left a benchmark for villainous comedy in Bollywood.
Meanwhile, Shraddha will next be seen in Remo D'Souza's movie Any Body Can Dance 2 along with actor Varun Dhawan, choreographer-director Prabhudheva and international dancer Lauren Gottlieb.
