Mumbai: Shruti Hassan is yet to find successin Bollywood but the actress, who will be next seen inPrabhudeva's Ramaiya Vastavaiya, says she is notdisheartened by failures.
Shruti made her debut in Hindi films with a cameoappearance in her father Kamal Hassan's Hey Ram in 2000.Later, she was seen in a full-fledged role in Luck (2009)and then in Madhur Bhandarkar's Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji(2011). Unfortunately both the films did not do well.
"Success is lovely for everybody. A hit is something thateverybody wants. But ultimately all these things are not inyour control. So you learn to dissociate from that. I judgemyself from my own personal growth of what I can see onscreen," Shruti said in an interview here.
The 27-year-old feels there is no formula for success."There is no formula (to success) I try to improvise anddo better. The film working or not is not in my hands. Butthat does not matter... you keep working hard. If I would havespend time thinking what went wrong or not then I would havebeen a talent manger and not an actor," she said.
The actress will be seen opposite newcomer Girish Kumar inRamaiya Vastavaiya and she insists it is not her comebackfilm .
"It is not my comeback film. Looking at the chronology ofthe films that I did here people are saying it is my comebackHindi movie. But it is nothing of that sort. I don't look atit as my comeback film and it does not bother me," she said.
"There were offers that came my way for Hindi films but Ihad commitments down South and I was not that excited to bepart of those things. I was logistically not able to take up(Hindi films)," she said.
Speaking about her role in the film, Shruti said, "Thecharacter is sweet and the story revolves around me."The film is a remake of Prabhudeva's directorial debut inTelugu Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and releases on July 19.
