Amitabh Bachchan will turn 80 tomorrow. Fans, including us, are super excited. Now, Big B's daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda has shared a snippet from the four-day-long film festival, Bachchan Back To The Beginning, organised to celebrate the legend's birthday. The event kicked off on October 8. In this film festival, 11 iconic movies of the veteran actor will be screened in 17 cities across the country. The clip shared by Shweta is from the film Deewaar, directed by Yash Chopra. It opens with the scene when Amitabh Bachchan's Vijay, who is waiting for the goons, says, “Tum log mujhe dhund rahe ho aur main tumhara yaha intezaar kar raha hun.” In the background, we can hear the crowd cheering for the megastar. Along with the video, Shweta wrote, “Deewaar on the big screen. Some movies are timeless.” For the hashtag, she added, “Back to the beginning.”
Ranveer Singh was the first one to drop a bunch of red heart eye emojis under the post. Director Zoya Akhtar followed suit. Karan Johar has declared that Deewaar is “the best”. Designer Manish Malhotra found it “just fabbbb”. Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives duo Maheep Kapoor and Seema Kiran Sajdeh have left clapping hands emojis under the post. For those who don't remember, Shweta made a special appearance in the second season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
