New Delhi:
It will be Sidharth Malhotra times two this August - the 32-year-old actor is all prepped to play dual roles as the 'sundar-susheel' Gaurav and the 'risky and dangerous' Rishi in upcoming movie A Gentleman. The official trailer and first look posters which have released, feature Sidharth in the chiseled best version of himself, which he said is the end result of extensive training. For more details, please read on. In an interview with news agency IANS, Sidharth said that his shooting schedules did not always permit time for working out in the gym but he made up for it by attending training sessions with electrical musical simulation. Sidharth appears to have been logging his work-out sessions on Instagram regularly, where he also mentioned enrolling with London's BlackLine Training, a fitness centre with provision for electrical musical simulation.
Talking about his training regime, Sidharth, who is known to be a fitness enthusiast, told IANS: "There is a lot of hard work and dedication that is put behind and the results are in front of all you. I make it a point to work out regularly, even during outdoor shoots. It does not necessarily need to be in the gym. While I was in London, I tried electrical musical simulation and I must say I enjoyed it a lot."
Meanwhile, Sidharth defends his new movie saying it is not a "typical" example of twin-role films. "A Gentleman is a fun popcorn action movie and I am looking forward to play the two different characters. The movie showcases a new twist on double role and it is surely not a typical double role movie," Sidharth told IANS.
Sidharth also shared more details about his characters Rishi and Gaurav: "While one is a regular hardworking boy, who has it all sorted out in life and is looking for a compatible girl to marry. The other role is one of a guy who is ready to fight everyone with his aggressive action moves. I am eagerly waiting to show the world both characters... I'm really excited to bring the action-comedy genre back with style."
A Gentleman also features Jacqueline Fernandez and will be directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. This will be Sidharth Malhotra's first movie after 2016's Baar Baar Dekho. He also has the film Ittefaq lined-up.
You can meet the 'gentlemen' in theatres on August 25.
