Sidharth's Ek Villain is scheduled for release on June 27

Newcomer Sidharth Malhotra has finished shooting for Mohit Suri's Ek Villain. The film will see Sidharth, 29, shedding his guy-next-door image and exploring his dark side for the first time.
The film also marks the return of Mohit after the success of Aashiqui 2 last year and stars Shraddha Kapoor in the female lead. (Also read: On-screen kissing is just a hype: Sidharth Malhotra)
"Ek Villain shoot done! Being bad never felt Better, all of us have given our heart and soul, thank you Mohit and all in team Villian," Sidharth posted on Twitter.
Ek Villain has been produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of her production house Balaji Motion Pictures. Earlier this month, the romantic-thriller's first trailer had crossed a million views online within three days of its launch.
Ek Villain is slated to release on June 27.
