The nominations for the seventh edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) released on the Internet on Wednesday and Atlee Kumar's Mersal, starring Vijay, is leading with 12 nods, including Best Film, Best Actor (for Vijay) and Best Actress (for Nithya Menen). Malayalam film Parava is competing in 10 categories while R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi's Tamil thriller Vikram Vedha and Malayalam film Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum have nine lives each at SIIMA 2018. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who debuted in Tamil film Vivegam, also found a spot on the nominations list for Best Actor In Negative Role. SIIMA 2018 will be held in Dubai this year - third time after its debut edition in 2012 and then for the 4th time in 2015.
