London:
Music mogul Simon Cowell is receiving death threats from wannabes rejected by him on talent hunt shows.
The 51-year-old who is now a judge on US 'X-Factor', after ending his tenure on 'American Idol', has stepped up security after getting a string of threats, reported Daily Star online.
"People want to kill me. It's serious and we have a lot of security now for that reason. My bosses told me they have been shown emails threatening my life. They said one man wanted to stab me. It sent a chill down me. But I'm used to it," said the 'X Factor' judge.
Cowell reportedly received around 500 hate-filled messages in a week.
