Music mogul Simon Cowell was reportedly jealous of singer Gary Barlow when the latter received the Order of British Empire title.
Gary Barlow received the prestigious title for his contribution in Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. And according to author Tom Bower's biography of Simon Cowell, Sweet Revenge, it did not go down well with Simon Cowell, reported Contactmusic.
"The announcement that Barlow would receive an OBE for arranging the Diamond Jubilee concert added to his irritation.He chased that madly to get three initials after his name," Tom Bower wrote in the book.
