Music mogul Simon Cowell may reunite with his 'American Idol' rival Paula Abdul on the judging panel of the US 'X-Factor'.
They sparred a lot on 'Idol', but Cowell is in talks to rope in the 'Opposites Attract' hitmaker for the American version of his hit UK show, reported Acess Hollywood online.
"Paula is one of people Simon is talking to though no one has signed on the dotted line," said a source close to Cowell.
Abdul would join the already-named LA Reid and British 'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole as the three judges alongside Cowell.
Cowell and Abdul's relationship helped blast 'Idol' to superhit status.
Abdul left the show after 2009, while Cowell said goodbye the next year.
