Simran Teaser: Kangana Ranaut's Laughter Is Infectious

Kangana Ranaut's Simran is reportedly a story of a young woman who gets entangled in the world of crime but the teaser gives no such hint

New Delhi: Director Hansal Mehta started Monday morning by giving a sneak peek into Simran's (the protagonist of his upcoming film) world. Kangana Ranaut plays the role of Simran, who appears to be a goofy and fun-loving. In the one minute easer we witness the myriad ways in which Simran keeps herself entertained and in the process makes others laugh. The teaser doesn't have any dialogues and it just introduces he audience to the protagonist. Simran works at a hotel and has jovial friends with whom she dances like no one's watching and has fun along the way. Take a look at Kangana Ranaut in and as Simran.
 


Simran is reportedly the story of a young woman whose ambition to excel leads to her the world of crime. However, no hint of the film's somber plot was revealed in the teaser, which Hansal Mehta shared a day after the motion poster.
 


Kangana Ranaut started filming Simran last year. The film is slated for release on September 15 and has been majorly shot in USA. The film also stars Sohum Shah, Rupinder Nagra, Esha Tewari and Aneesha Joshi.

Kangana Ranaut while awaiting the release of Simran is gearing up for filming Manikarnika: Rani of Jhansi, which is a biopic on Rani Laxmibai. Last week, Kangana launched the film's poster in Varanasi which was followed by Ganga aarti. Manikarnika: Rani of Jhansi will be directed by Krish, who helmed hit film Kanchi and Bollywood film Gabbar is Back. The screenplay of Manikarnika is by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of S S Rajamouli's Baahubali.

Kangana Ranaut was last seen in February's Rangoon, which was a box office debacle. The film also starred Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
